They still sit next to each other too, Yoji does a few side jobs here and there but they're career brothers. Makes me wonder how much of Koji Pro are expats from his Konami Studio too, and where does the loyalty come from? The prestige of past successes, or is Koji just an amazing boss?

By sheer luck, I was in Tokyo last november when the Death Stranding pop up shops were in town. Didn't know it was a thing but just stumbled upon it in a department store.

I hadn't played the game yet so I only bought a couple things: a cute lil Cryptobiote pin and some stickers.
I didn't want to spend too much money when I hadn't played the game yet. But now that I finished it last week I wish I had got more things. There were some sweet figures and trinkets.

I love the game, but it is a walking simulator. I wasn't around for the hype cycle during the lead up to Death Stranding, but from what I've read it was a crazy bait and switch on par with MGS2. So of course there was backlash on the game. At least MGS2 still plays like the other games in the series. Death Stranding is literally a delivery simulator. It's still spectacular, but it's very easy to see why it's divisive.

there was not "switch" because the only "bait" was that it was kojima's first non metal gear game in a while. people EXPECTED a by the numbers action game with lots of rooty-tooty-guns-n-shooty, got something else. that's it.

I had fun playing death stranding but I got confused by the story and who was who and who did what to who when so I just skipped all the cutscenes after a while :( and now I don't what anyone is talking about here :( but sneaking a giant pile of cargo over a snowy mountain while stealth dodging invisible ghosts and bola gunning some goon and kicking his head in are all fun.

depends entirely if apple are still going to try and push that side of things, I have no idea how the numbers turned out. It is a shame tho because apples ARM chips are the ultimate mobile gaming chips on paper and the METAL api is much more efficient than direct X but its just hard for them to ever get the ball rolling on gaming shit due to cost, consumer base and conflicting marketing.

There are some sweet games on Mac right now.
The performance of DS on it was stellar. I connected to my tv with HDMI and was blown away at how great it looked. Thankfully any latency that was present wasn't that noticeable since Sam is kinda sluggish with his movements anyways.
